August Highlights

It's been a slightly slower paced month, but full of preparation for conferences and the start of term.

Prepping for MASTS

With the deadline fast approaching on the 31st, a few of our team have been busy putting together abstracts for this year's MASTS conference. Michael and Asif are hoping to give talks, and Lauren is planning to present a poster.

We'll hear more about what they will present in the leadup to the conference, which will be taking place in November.

End of summer barbecue

To celebrate the end of summer, the team at the Hope Lab had a barbecue! We enjoyed some great food, great games, and great company on East Sands, as well as catching the Solar Eclipse (a first for many attendees!). Some even braved a sea swim and paddleboarding, warming up after with some dessert. It was a lovely evening and a great way to celebrate all of the hard work we accomplished this summer.

Coming up...

With classes starting up again at the university, more experiments, and more conference prep, September will be a busy month!
