Sutton Trust Microplastics Lab

This week we hosted the Sutton Trust Widening Access students from across Scotland, introducing them to microplastics in the environment and lab protocols to extract samples from beach sediments.

It was a fun day, albeit very quick but the students were fantastic and got stuck in. Hopefully we have sparked an interest in marine science and hope to see you as fresh undergraduates in the near future! We wish the students well for the rest of the week!
